Every culture around the world has their own beliefs about the after life. Even more interesting is the belief that there are other beings occuppying a different dimension simultaneously with us. We know them as ghosts in most parts of the world.
Have you ever had an unexplained chill? Or walked into a cold spot in anotherwise warm room? What about those shadows you see move out of the corner of your eye? Strange noises in an empty or sleeping house? Things mysteriously disappearing from where they were and then reappearing in the same place?
Ghosts can be quite mischievious or malevolent. For example, a poltergeist--which is German for noisy spirit--tends to move things loudly, slam doors, drawers and cabinets. Other ghosts can cause even more trouble. However, they all seem to have one thing in common. They require energy to give them strength. Fear seems to give them the most power.
In nearly every house or apartment I have lived in there have been unexplained activities. Noises when the house was empty, things moving disappearing and reappearing, shadowy figures. One thing I have always done is iognore them. I don't give them any credibility. However, babysitters and boyfriends have had similar experiences in my homes and gotten scared and whatever it is continues to torment them and even seems to gain momentum.
Tune in next time when I give specific accounts of ghostly encounters.
